I'm a walker

OK, I am not always so good at it, but I can do it. My record is about 8 steps or halfway across the living room befo0re falling. I ike walking and I don't even mind falling, especially if I am wearing a diaper (which I usually am).

Aunt Shell told me I am a pretty baby. That was really sweet. She says I am the rpettiest one yet. Hmm, maybe I have a future in show biz! What do you think?

Life as Micah

Oops! I messed up my clothes again today! Mommy has to bring me more clothes for tomorrow. Sigh! I just really had to go.

I am taking one step at a time now. I am not real sure about taking more than one. I suppose I could but I am really wobbly and its so much easier to crawl.

I got to sleep with Mommy and Daddy last nioght. That hasn't happened for a while. I don't mind sleeping by myself, but I was not feeling very good. I can sleep all night in my own bed. I am getting to be such a big boy!

Almost walking

I am almost walking. I can walk if someone holds my hand and I have tried to take a couple of steps on my own, but I haven't quite gotten the whole walking thing down on my own. I am working ion it though. Did you know I weight 18.5 lbs? I am a BIG boy!

10 months old

Daddy is a wimp. He always says I hurt him when I hit him. I’m not that big so it can’t hurt too bad. Besides I aim for soft parts like his legs and his nose. I like to hit. It’s how I figure out how far things are from me. My eyes are not always great yet.

I am getting to be such a BIG boy! Daddy says that I am bigger than Cedes and Bubba were at my age. I can almost walk already. I can stand on my own all by myself and I can almost take a step. I am SO cool! I figure I will be running after Bubba and Cedes before my birthday.

Speed Demon

I can crawl REALLY fast! I was chasing Daddy this morning and I almost had him. Then when Mommy came to pick me up I crawled to her (really REALLY fast). I can also stand up by myself. I want to be able to walk like the big kids. Mason gets to play and run around with all of the girls and I want to do that too.

I am eating a lot now too. I like to eat cereal a lot. I also get to eat finger foods now. I eat a lot. Not so into the milk anymore, though its nice when I want to go to sleep.

I talk a lot too. Everyone acts like they don't understand me, but they smile a lot and talk gibberish to me, so I must be doing something right. I can yell really loud too. That doesn't always get me attention though.

Lots of teeth

I didn’t feel good all last week. I was coughing and I couldn’t sleep and my ears hurt. Daddy came last Thursday and got me from Ms. Shannon and took me to the doctor. They didn’t poke me this time, which I really liked. They looked in my ears though and said I had an ear infection in both ears. I don’t know why an ear infection decided to move in there, I guess the cost of housing around here is too much for it. Anyways, I got some medicine that is supposed to make me feel all better. And you know what, it does. I even started smiling again this weekend. I can also pull myself up and sometimes I even let go. The bad part about letting go is that I fall. It usually doesn’t hurt, but then I have to start all over.
Oh the doctor person did say that if I get another ear infection before my birthday I will probably have to have tubes like Bubba and Sissy. That doesn’t sound like a lot of fun to me.
I am now really good at crawling. I crawl really fast and I chase down people so I can pull myself up their leg. That’s my way of telling them that I want to be picked up. And I eat really good too. I like to have a bowl of cereal (mixed with fruit juice) and a container of baby food (fruit) when I get home. I also get fruit and cereal for breakfast and real food for lunch. Well, real baby food anyway! I like to eat!
I have decided that I like to take baths in the bathtub. I can crawl around and splash the water. That’s a lot of fun. I don’t like it when I fall though. My face gets wet and there is water up my nose and that isn’t fun at all.

I'm movin' on up

I can crawl! Really, I can. I lose my balance sometimes, but if I see something I want I can get to it. I can roll over too. That scares Mommy and Daddy sometimes, but I don’t like lying on my back. I am a big boy and I want to sleep on my tummy. I can almost see my two new toofers too. I’m glad they are in because they REALLY hurt. I’ve tried biting Mommy with them, but she doesn’t like that very much. I can use them to eat the spoon when someone feeds me though. That’s kind of fun. I like to eat, especially yummy stuff like peach cobber (Gerber’s, 2nd stage).
